‘Being The Best You’
Performance and Creativity
This workshop given by Paul O’Brien will look at how developing all aspects of our creativity and performance will help to becoming the best you can be.

I always feel incredibly lucky and privileged whenever I am in a position of teaching or sharing, and believe me, I know I will learn from all of you.

I never expect to inform anybody of something completely new to them, mostly its about reminding of those inner instincts you’ve always carried and perhaps not trusted enough.

Having trained as a school teacher I had to learn to adapt very quickly to individual learning styles.I do try very hard to make sure everybody I meet leaves with something that might help them pursue whatever it is they want from this musical journey. Of course being on a musical journey doesn’t always mean the teaching focus is on music. When I give a workshop I like to get to know everyone and try to learn a little background from whom I am about to interact with.

Relationship is key, it is by far the most aspect of learning.

Relationship with yourself of course and then looking outward to the relationship with your creativity and your audience.

The workshop is open to everybody.
Many times the least experienced attendee brings the greatest wisdom.
The workshop will include of course me talking and playing and there will be opportunities for people to perform and then perhaps ask for feedback.
We are all learning.
